Long-Term Research
Finding the right help for your daughter is never easy. Along with the emotional and financial stress, each treatment program offers success stories and appealing approaches. What parents need to research is the long-term outcomes from residential care. This research is missing from academic literature.
In addition to the outcome data already gathered (see below), Alpine Academy is beginning a formal large-scale outcome study on the long-term effects of treatment for all our girls. We plan to use these findings to further refine the treatment services already provided as well as develop new student and parent resources.
For more information about this project or about the outcome data listed below, please contact Christian Egan at 1-800-244-1113 or via E-mail at cegan@youthvillage.org.
